All of our fine art prints are made using pigment-based inks, and- given proper storage- will resist fading for more than 100 years. Every order is custom printed, matted, and framed as it is received; please allow 3-4 weeks for delivery of your order (though typically this should be much quicker).
Prints are mounted using archival-quality, acid-free mattes and mounting materials. Smaller prints (8" X 12" and below) will be mounted using a single matte; anything larger be double-matted. I will typically use bright white mattes, as I feel these accentuate the photo without distracting from it. If you have a specific request of color, however, I will certainly make an effort to accomodate your needs.
Frames, if requested, are also typically simple- heavyweight matte black aluminum frames work very well with photographic works (all mounting hardware already in place- these are "ready-to-hang"). For larger works, plexiglass is preferred for glazing material, as it is significantly lighter than glass, and breakage is rarely an issue (all of my personal work at home is hanging under plexiglass).
