Many of us have photos of family or friends, or simply snapshots from vacations past, which have not withstood the test of time as well as we might like. Or, perhaps, you have a favorite portrait that would be simply perfect, except for an unsightly blemish which distracts from its subject. With the advent of digital imaging has come the ability to correct these problems, given the access to appropriate software and the expertise needed to take full advantage of its capabilities.
We are happy to be able to offer this service for your own images, either from an existing photo or digital file. The final, retouched image can be provided either in digital form or as a finished print. Keep in mind that possible enlargement sizes will be in large part determined by the quality of starting image provided to us.
Simple retouching will typically be charged at a rate of $10.00 per photograph- $5.00 will be added to each order (not per photo) to cover shipping if you need the original image returned. More complex editing and additonal services (such as prints/enlargements) will result in additional costs. Exact pricing and turn around time for this service will be necessarily determined on a case-by-case basis. Please include:
- 1. A description of the image and the improvements you are hoping to achieve.
- 2. How you woulod like the finished product delivered to you (i.e. print vs. digital file)
- 3. If possible, a copy of the image as an email attachment
We will typically reply with an estimate via email within 24-48 hours for your approval.
